I decided to start a blog to share my life after 50. I'll make a note every few days when something important happens.
Life is great. Good husband, wonderful kids, and a couple of pretty neat grandsons.
So today I learned a new technique at embroidery club. We did cut work designs. I did mine on an old pillowcase. I must say it looks neater than I had anticipated. Will have to try it again sometime.
The weather outside is gorgeous today! But it will be raining tomorrow. Got to get my garden plowed and started. Should be an interesting adventure this year. I would like to plant some corn, carrots, green beans, onions, beets, tomatoes, peppers and maybe try some brussell sprouts and cabbage. Can't forget the lettuce also. The raccoons and deer should have a "heyday" out there anyway.
